Microsoft 365 Engineer – Security & Endpoint Management

ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to configure, secure, and manage Microsoft 365 environments and Windows endpoints across multiple U.S. client environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role — not a helpdesk position. You’ll work directly with Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online, Windows endpoints, and PowerShell to implement security controls and resolve real configuration and security issues.

Because this is an MSP environment, you’ll work across separate client tenants and must be comfortable making controlled changes, testing them properly, documenting what was done, and preparing rollback plans when needed.

This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates in India and the Philippines, with required overlap with U.S. business hours.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assess Microsoft 365 tenants and Windows endpoints and identify security weaknesses

• Configure Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access

• Deploy and manage Intune enrollment, compliance, and configuration policies

• Implement endpoint security including BitLocker, Windows Firewall, ASR rules, Defender Antivirus, and Windows Update policies

• Configure Microsoft Defender and investigate security alerts and incidents

• Secure Exchange Online, including anti-phishing and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC

• Write PowerShell scripts for administration, automation, and reporting

• Use pilot groups, testing, report-only modes, and rollback planning before major changes

• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, tickets, and handover notes

• Provide occasional advanced support for Microsoft 365 and Windows issues

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 and Windows endpoint experience

• Implementation-level Microsoft 365 experience beyond basic helpdesk support

• Strong Entra ID / Azure AD administration experience

• Hands-on Conditional Access and MFA implementation

• Strong Microsoft Intune experience

• Microsoft Defender configuration and incident-investigation experience

• Windows endpoint security and hardening experience

• Exchange Online security experience

• Understanding of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC

• PowerShell scripting for administration or automation

• Experience working with structured change management, testing, and rollback planning

• Strong technical documentation skills

• Strong written and spoken English

• Ability to work independently across multiple client environments

NICE TO HAVE

• MSP experience supporting multiple client environments

• Windows Autopilot experience

• Microsoft Graph experience

• Microsoft Sentinel or KQL experience

• Microsoft Purview experience

• Familiarity with CMMC / NIST 800-171 controls

• Microsoft certifications such as SC-300, MD-102, SC-200, or MS-102
