Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant

📍 Location: Egypt (Hybrid)

✈️ Mobility Requirement: Candidates must be willing to travel to Saudi Arabia (KSA) for temporary task-force assignments, on-site project support, and business requirements as needed. The role will remain primarily based in Egypt under a hybrid working arrangement.

We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation experience and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend appropriate system configurations and enhancements.
• Configure D365 F&O modules according to agreed business requirements.
• Prepare functional design documents, process flows, and configuration documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to deliver and validate customizations, reports, and integrations.
• Prepare test scenarios and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support data migration, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Deliver user training and support go-live and post-implementation activities.
• Investigate functional issues and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a D365 F&O Functional Consultant.
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, or Fixed Assets.
• Supply Chain: Procurement, Sales, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or Master Planning.
• Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, functional documentation, and testing.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and dependencies between modules.
• Familiarity with the Data Management Framework and data migration activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle.
• Experience with Dynamics AX 2012.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for requirements, issues, and testing.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Power Platform.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
