As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer at Unumed, you'll help build and run the infrastructure and delivery pipelines behind our platform. You will work closely with Development, QA and Data teams to keep deployments smooth, CI/CD pipelines healthy and services reliable across multiple AWS regions. Our platform handles sensitive health and patient data, so security is part of everything we do. As we expand into new markets, you’ll help us scale our infrastructure in a way that holds up as usage grows.
- Maintain our AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads, and investigate deployment, networking, and performance issues.
- Build and review Terraform/Terragrunt changes, using Atlantis plans and peer review to assess risk before anything reaches production.
- Improve our Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based build and deployment workflows.
- Use our observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo) to investigate incidents and to build better dashboards and alerts.
- Work with development and QA teams to resolve deployment issues and make releases more predictable.
- Identify and fix infrastructure security risks, including findings from CI scanning and configuration checks.
- Document operational procedures and drive improvements to our tooling and processes.
Must have:
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including VPC networking, IAM, EC2/EKS and S3.
- Practical experience running Kubernetes workloads: kubectl, deployments, and service and ingress troubleshooting.
- Experience maintaining or extending CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent), including build, test and security scanning stages.
- Confidence with Docker: building images and debugging containers.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform, and a habit of building reusable components rather than duplicating configuration.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and alerts in Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools.
- Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Fluency with Git: branching, pull requests, conventional commits, and working with pre-commit and linting checks.
- Clear communication. You can explain infrastructure decisions to both senior engineers and newer colleagues.
- The ability to own a small, well-scoped project independently, and to know when to bring in senior input.
Nice to have:
- Terragrunt and Atlantis
- Loki and Tempo
- Hybrid working arrangement
- A small, flat-structured team where your voice is heard
- Office lunch
- Competitive salary, with clear opportunities for growth as you take on more ownership
- Training/Learning budget
