We're hiring: QA Engineer (Manual Testing) | Lisbon

About the role:

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with solid hands-on experience in manual software testing to help ensure software quality, identify potential issues and minimize risks throughout the testing process.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and capable of independently investigating issues, prioritizing quality risks and communicating findings effectively.

Requirements

• Ideally 3–5 years of relevant QA experience.
• Hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Experience with exploratory testing and risk-based testing.
• Strong analytical, investigative and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to independently identify, prioritize and communicate quality risks.
• Clear and structured bug reporting skills.
• Basic understanding of API and client-server concepts.

Key Responsabilities

• Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases.
• Apply risk-based testing approaches to prioritize testing activities.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues, documenting bugs clearly and accurately.
• Identify, assess and communicate quality risks.
• Apply basic API and client-server knowledge when investigating software behavior.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the iGaming industry.
• Experience working in regulated environments.

Work Model

• This is a hybrid position based in Lisbon, Portugal, with mandatory office attendance on Mondays and Tuesdays.
