Mid to Senior SAP Auth and GRC Consultant - Remote within South Africa

Job Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled Mid to Senior SAP Authorisations and GRC Consultant(Full-time / Contractor) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Authorisations and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), with additional expertise in Soterion, SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), and SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS). Key Responsibilities SAP Authorisations Management : Design, implement, and maintain robust SAP authorisation structures across SAP platforms. SAP GRC : Manage access control, risk analysis, and remediation processes, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. SuccessFactors Authorisations : Configure and manage SuccessFactors role-based permissions, ensuring seamless integration with broader SAP landscapes. Soterion Expertise : Utilise Soterion for compliance reporting, access reviews, and authorisation risk analysis. SAP IAS/IPS : Manage SAP Identity Authentication and Provisioning Services, ensuring secure and efficient identity lifecycle management. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business units to identify and address authorisation needs, ensuring a balance between security and usability. Audits and Compliance : Support internal and external audits to meet all compliance requirements. Training and Documentation : Develop training materials and deliver knowledge-sharing sessions to empower end-users and stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of SAP Authorisations, including role design and maintenance. Proven experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, EAM, BRM, ARM). Knowledge of Soterion for GRC-related activities. Hands-on experience with SAP IAS and IPS for identity management. Nice to Have : Experience with SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions (RBP). Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot authorisation issues and design scalable solutions. Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks. Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Certifications SAP Certified Technology Professional - SAP Authorisations. SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP GRC Access Control. SAP Certified Associate - Security Administrator SAP Technology Professional - System Security Architect SAP IAS/IPS Certification. (if available). Soterion Certification (if available). Other relevant certifications in identity and access management or IT security are advantageous.
