Position Summary

We are looking for Middle Java Software Engineers to join our team and develop a modern, scalable platform for Customs operations. We value strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, and the effective use of AI tools to improve development productivity and software quality.

Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MinIO, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Kubernetes, Linux, AI coding assistants.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, reliable distributed applications.

  • Apply best practices in software design, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

  • Use AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate development, generate tests, refactor code, debug issues, and improve engineering workflows.

  • Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.

  • Travel to our project offices when necessary.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Java development experience, including Spring Boot.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, Kafka, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

  • Understanding of JVM performance, multithreading, and concurrency.

  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and containerized applications.

  • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.

  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Availability and willingness to travel to project offices are mandatory.

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms or Customs-related products.
