You will serve as the connector among business leaders, recruiters, transitioning service members, veterans, installation partners, and military-serving organizations. The role will move the organization from one-off outreach to a sustainable operating model that improves role fit, candidate experience, conversion, onboarding handoffs, retention, and leadership visibility.
You will report directly to our Director of Workforce Development, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and execute the enterprise military recruiting and workforce development strategy, translating priority business needs into targeted talent pipelines by role, location, volume, and timing.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with Transition Assistance Program (TAP) offices, installation transition teams, SkillBridge stakeholders, Hiring Our Heroes, military organizations, veteran service organizations, and other strategic partners.
- Position Honeywell Technologies as a preferred employer and partner within the military ecosystem, creating differentiated access to highly qualified transitioning service members, veterans, and military-connected talent.
- Translate Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), Navy and Coast Guard Rates, military skills, credentials, and experience into relevant civilian roles, job requirements, and career pathways.
- Educate business leaders, hiring managers, recruiters, and talent partners on the connections between military roles and civilian opportunities, including transferable skills, military culture, candidate assessment, and effective onboarding support.
- Partner with business and talent acquisition leaders to identify critical and hard-to-fill roles, prioritize outreach, define candidate profiles, and align sourcing activity to workforce plans.
- Plan and execute military and veteran hiring events, installation career fairs, partner events, information sessions, and targeted outreach campaigns, including logistics, communications, internal representation, candidate follow-up, and outcome reporting.
- Design, manage, and continuously improve the end-to-end SkillBridge candidate process, including intake, role matching, stakeholder coordination, placement, conversion, onboarding handoffs, and post-placement follow-up.
- Demonstrate and report success in SkillBridge candidate placement and retention using clearly defined metrics, dashboards, and outcome reviews.
- Establish governance, standard work, playbooks, tracking, and operating rhythms that enable consistent execution across business groups, roles, and locations.
- Engage and coordinate veteran ambassadors, employee resource groups, mentors, and onboarding partners to strengthen candidate trust, hiring-manager readiness, and successful workplace transition.
- Manage military and partner relationships through regular engagement, business reviews, shared objectives, and measurable outcomes that improve pipeline quality and access to top talent.
- Track funnel health and program performance, including sourced prospects, qualified candidates, interviews, placements, conversions, time to placement, retention, partner yield, event outcomes, and business impact.
- Use data, feedback, and lessons learned to improve targeting, partner investments, event strategy, candidate experience, and program scalability.
- Represent Honeywell Technologies professionally at external events and partner engagements and travel to installations, worksites, and recruiting events as required.
YOU MUST HAVE
