Description

In support of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Headquarters Management and Administrative Support Services (H-MASS) contract, Systems Intelligence is pleased to deliver management expertise to AFNWC headquarters directorates and provide comprehensive administrative support to AFNWC Senior Leaders. This Mission Support Business Manager role supports the Mission Support Management Division.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive and management support activities required for the seamless operation of AFNWC/DSM functions, to include printing and reviewing speeches, remarks, presentations, and publications, and in conjunction with Command Section support personnel and the Director of Staff, maintain, update, and cross-reference the Center’s Strategic and Nuclear Materiel Management Calendars daily.
  • Manage internal and external taskers received through official workflows and the Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Monitor incoming emails from all assigned workflows, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or disruptions.
  • Monitor, track, and update the status of all internal and external taskers, correspondence, and action items with the designated Government system and provide daily and quarterly reporting.
  • Act as a quality control checkpoint to ensure the highest accuracy of all staff packages, correspondence, and resources submitted to AFNWC Senior Leadership.
  • Create and maintain an effective and up-to-date Action Officer SharePoint site, ensuring easy access to current templates, memos, and training resources.
  • Prepare for, coordinate, assemble, and execute actions associated with key AFNWC meetings and forums.
  • Organize and facilitate staff meetings as needed (e.g., developing the agenda, coordinating with stakeholders for presentations, managing the meeting flow, documenting key decisions and action items, scheduling room/facility, and preparing IT/Video Teleconferencing (VTC).

Qualifications

  • An active SECRET security clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working within an acquisition program office, DoW headquarters/staff office, or a similar business management role.
  • Tasker and Workflow Management Experience – Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of official taskers using a formal system, preferably TMT. Experience must include receiving, assessing, assigning, tracking, and closing tasks on behalf of a large organization.
  • Staff Package and Correspondence Review Skills – Proven experience meticulously reviewing, editing, and preparing high-level staff packages, briefings, and correspondence for senior leadership review.
  • Process and Resource Management – Ability to create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and online resources, with proficiency in platforms like SharePoint.
  • Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills – Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels (Action Officers, Senior Leaders) to coordinate tasks and ensure product completion.
  • Technical Editing Skills – Strong technical editing skills to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, grammatically correct, and compliant with established standards.
  • Organizational and Time-Management Skills – Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks, monitor workflows, and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
