Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mobile Application Developer, based in Lagos with flexibility for some work from home. The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications, ensuring seamless performance, usability, and security. Daily tasks include collaborating with product and design teams, implementing new features, fixing bugs, optimizing application performance, and integrating with backend services and payment systems. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience shipping Mobile Applications to production environments.
• Proficiency in Application Development lifecycles, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns.
• Hands-on experience with iOS Development and familiarity with relevant frameworks, tools, and app store submission processes.
• Experience with hybrid or cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter) is beneficial.
• Comfort working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services and payment platforms.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively.
• Interest in or experience with the energy or fintech sectors in Africa is an advantage.
