Mobile QA Automation Engineer

📍 This role is hybrid, with 50% of the month on site in Bucharest.

🚀 First who?

• 3+ years of experience in UI mobile test automation across both iOS and Android.
• Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript, WebdriverIO, Appium, Cucumber (BDD), and BrowserStack.
• Proven experience in API test automation (REST Assured and/or Supertest, Axios, Super-Agent).
• Practical experience with NPM (dependencies, scripts), Git workflows, and manual API testing (Postman, Bruno).
• Solid background in test management tools (Jira, Octane) and reporting frameworks (Allure).
• Experience in banking or financial projects is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English with strong analytical, communication, and debugging abilities.

• You’ll ensure end-to-end traceability, data integrity, and compliance across complex functional flows.
• You’ll embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable early defect detection and fast feedback loops.
• You’ll collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and business stakeholders in an Agile delivery model.

• Version Control: Git (merge, rebase, branching workflows)
• CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab) - plus
• Banking / Fintech domain experience - plus
• ISTQB Certification - plus

• Clear written and verbal communication for presenting test strategies and metrics
