About the role
We are looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to design, implement, secure, and optimise Microsoft 365 workplace solutions for our customers. The role will have a strong focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, information protection and governance, endpoint management, identity security, and data loss prevention. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with consulting skills, working with customers to assess their existing environments, define target architectures, implement solutions, and establish appropriate security and governance controls.

• Copilot readiness assessments, deployment and administration

• Configuration, governance and security of Copilot within Microsoft 365

• Understanding of data access, permissions, oversharing and information governance considerations associated with Copilot

• Microsoft Purview & Information Protection

• Microsoft Purview configuration and administration

• Azure Information Protection / Microsoft Information Protection concepts

• Sensitivity labels, classification and information protection policies

• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across Microsoft 365

• Data lifecycle, retention and governance Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management

• Intune configuration and administration

• Windows device enrolment and management

• Compliance policies and configuration profiles

• Endpoint security and application management

• Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning

• Identity & Security Microsoft Entra ID administration

• Conditional Access Multi-factor authentication and passwordless authentication

• Identity and access governance

• Privileged access and Zero Trust principles Integration between identity, endpoint security and Microsoft 365 services

• Consulting & Delivery Conduct customer discovery and technical workshops

• Assess existing Microsoft 365 environments and identify security, governance and configuration improvements

• Design and implement Modern Workplace solutions

• Produce high-level/low-level designs and technical documentation

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations aligned with Microsoft best practices

• Work alongside customer stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to drive successful adoption

What will you bring?

• Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365 Copilot, including readiness assessments, deployment, administration and governance.

• Good understanding of Copilot security, permissions, data access, oversharing risks and information governance within Microsoft 365.

• Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Purview, including Information Protection and compliance capabilities.

• Knowledge of sensitivity labels, data classification, retention policies and information protection frameworks.

• Practical experience implementing and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Intune, including device management, compliance policies, endpoint security and Windows Autopilot.

• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless authentication and identity governance.

• Ability to consult, design and deliver Modern Workplace solutions, leading customer workshops, producing technical designs and providing best-practice recommendations.
