The Movement Practitioner works with a Strategy Coordinator in pursuit of a Church Planting Movement. A Movement practitioner can focus their attention on 0-1 harvest work, networking and/or training with the goal of multiplying disciples and churches. They must be familiar with and able to train others in the practices (tools) and principles of a Church Planting Movement using a 4 Fields Strategy. They will regularly catalyze other individuals and/or churches into the work until there is a church accessible to every person on the planet. A Movement Practitioner can focus their work as a resident, within their local context, and/or as a non-resident, in a different foreign context.
Leadership and General
- In collaboration with colleagues, contributes to achievement of e3 Partners’ goals.
- Works within a segment, teaming with other laborers who are pursuing a strategy to multiply disciples and churches.
- Develops relationships with churches, ministries and other potential e3 partners interested in being trained in a 4 Fields Strategy.
- Networks to form long-term, collaborative, strategic relationships with individuals, churches, ministries and other organizations to mobilize disciple makers, church planters, multipliers and trainers.
- Develops innovative approaches and initiatives to increase ministry effectiveness in the segment.
- Performs ministerial duties associated with planting, leading and multiplying churches
Training
- Able to train with the tools defined by the team to equip others in disciple making, church planting and multiplication.
- Participates in training to problem solve barriers faced within the work.
- Trains 90 people annually in basic tools of a Disciple Maker and provides further training opportunities for the faithful.
Teaming
- Labors under the direction of a Strategy Coordinator who stewards the essential tasks of a strategy within a defined segment.
- Gathers with team (led by Strategy Coordinator) for regular encouragement, accountability, prayer and strategic planning
- Reports results within team to inform strategic decisions
Ministry
- Has the duty to interact with others as an ambassador of faith.
- Tasked with performing duties according to the Word of God and Biblical standards as drawn from the Holy Scripture.
- Serves as a messenger or teacher of faith according to e3 Doctrinal statements and beliefs.
- Has a duty to assist others to cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual practices.
