MPD Financial Coordinator

Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a good standing membership at an Every Nation church.
- Process payroll for the MPD pay groups adhering to the semi-monthly pay schedule and maintain MPD pay groups' payroll-related records in UKG.
- Post payroll entries into NetSuite and generate payroll tax and benefit deduction summaries after the payroll process.
- Follow up with MPD staff regarding their financial information, including payroll-related inquiries and requests for information about AMA (Associated Ministry Account) activities and balance.
- Monitor various forms in EN.me such as the Dashboard, SPGW, TAP, and Housing Allowance by collaborating with the IT team.
- Maintain and update Knowledge Base articles related to payroll and MPD finance within UKG.
- Process monthly transfers for Non-Employed missionaries and special programs, and follow up on any related requests.
- Assist in posting various journal entries as required.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to comoplete the Annual Financial Audit.
- Work with the Finance Director to prepare the Year-End Project, including the preparation of W-2's and other compliance documentation.
- Attend to all work in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
- Oversee ad hoc projects assigned by the Finance Director.
- complete additional tasks assigned by the Finance Director or CFO.
Minimum Qualifying Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration preferred
Minimum Qualifying Experience:
- Three to six months of experience in bookkeeping and accounting is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Analytical skills
- Understanding of basic accounting
- Computer literacy, experience with work processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as web-based software-as-a-service applications
- Ability to communicate amiable and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and healthy working relationships with co-workers
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a learning posture, an encouraging spirit, and the ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of administrative procedures and processing
- Ability to be well organized, comfortable, and flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
