Netsuite Developer (Italian/EMEA Localization)

We are currently looking for a NetSuite Developer to join our team. This role is centered around supporting and enhancing our Oracle NetSuite ERP platform to align with business objectives across Finance, Procurement, HR, and other corporate functions. The NetSuite Developer will lead the design and implementation of new customizations, integrations, and technical solutions while ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, and efficient. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.1, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk (Web Services), RESTlets, and other NetSuite development tools Implement and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other internal/external systems Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide support throughout the development lifecycle Experience in supporting European countries specially Italian localization. Partner with business stakeholders and application support teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize system functionality, and drive continuous improvement Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation Support system upgrades and ensure compatibility with NetSuite releases Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and configuration records Ensure development follows best practices for performance, scalability, and security Collaborate with the Release Management team to support UAT, code reviews, and production deployments Contribute to data governance, system audits, and compliance initiatives What we look for: 6+ years of hands-on experience developing in Oracle NetSuite ERP, ideally with both technical and functional exposure Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.1 and related NetSuite development technologies Experience with system integrations via SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), RESTlets, and middleware platforms Understanding of core NetSuite modules: Financials, Procurement, Order Management, and Reporting NetSuite Certification (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) preferred Fluency in English Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical details into business-friendly language Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to solving issues and improving systems Ability to manage multiple development tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
