Job Description
Position: NetSuite
Techno Functional Consultant
Shift Timing: 3.00AM - 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)
Location: Chennai - Remote
Key
Responsibilities:
Product ownership and
roadmap
Own the NetSuite product vision,
roadmap, and prioritized backlog aligned to business strategy
Run backlog grooming, sprint planning,
and release planning; write clear user stories with acceptance criteria
Balance competing demands from Finance,
Sales Ops, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders using
value-based prioritization
Functional leadership
Act as the subject matter expert across
NetSuite modules such as GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Management,
Multi-Book Accounting, Multi-Subsidiary/OneWorld, Procurement, Inventory,
and Order-to-Cash
Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap
analysis, and process redesign workshops
Recommend standard NetSuite
functionality over customization wherever possible
Own UAT strategy, test scripts, and
business sign-off for each release
Technical leadership
Partner with developers and integration
teams on SuiteScript (2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST), RESTlets,
and SuiteApps
Review solution designs, saved searches,
custom records, workflows, and data models for scalability and
maintainability
Oversee integrations (e.g., CRM,
banking, payroll, tax, EDI, data warehouse) and data migration/cleansing
activities
Manage the sandbox strategy, release
management, and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) deployments in line
with governance standards
Governance and
operations
Manage NetSuite biannual release
readiness (regression testing, new feature evaluation)
Maintain roles, permissions, and
segregation-of-duties controls with Internal Audit and Compliance
Own documentation: process flows,
configuration guides, data dictionaries, training material
Manage vendor and implementation partner
relationships, including SOWs, hours, and deliverables
Required
Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on NetSuite
experience, including at least 10+ full-cycle implementations or major
enhancement programs
Strong functional knowledge of core
financials and at least one of: Revenue Recognition, Multi-Book
Accounting, OneWorld, Supply Chain, or Procurement
Working technical proficiency:
SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, saved searches, SuiteAnalytics/SuiteQL, CSV/data
imports, and integration patterns
Proven experience in a product owner,
business analyst, or functional lead role using Agile/Scrum or hybrid
delivery
Ability to write clear user stories,
functional specifications, and technical requirement documents
Excellent stakeholder management and
communication skills, from executives to developers
Preferred

NetSuite certifications
(SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, Administrator, SuiteCloud Developer)
