About the Opportunity

Experis is partnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking a talented Network DevOps Engineer to join a high performing Network Services team on a fixed term contract through to April 2028.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer who is passionate about automation, modern engineering practices and cyber security. You'll help drive the evolution of enterprise networking through Network as Code, Infrastructure as Code, vulnerability management, security hardening and cloud-connected networking solutions.

Working within a collaborative and innovative environment, you'll contribute to the design, automation, security and operation of large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and support enterprise LAN, WAN, data centre and cloud-connected network environments
• Develop and maintain network automation using Python, Ansible and REST APIs
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and Network as Code practices
• Automate configuration management, compliance validation and vulnerability remediation
• Improve network security baselines and hardening standards
• Work closely with Cyber Security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Support complex incident resolution, problem management and production changes
• Contribute to solution design, implementation planning and technical documentation
• Integrate network platforms with enterprise tools including ServiceNow, Tenable and Microsoft Defender
• Promote secure, repeatable and scalable engineering practices across the network environment
  
  

About You

You will bring strong enterprise networking experience combined with a passion for automation and DevOps methodologies.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Enterprise routing and switching, LAN/WAN and network security
• Experience supporting highly available production environments
• Network automation using Python, Ansible and APIs
• Git, source control and modern DevOps practices
• CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and Network as Code
• Vulnerability remediation, network hardening and configuration compliance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, security and delivery teams

• ServiceNow and CMDB integrations
• Tenable and Microsoft Defender
