  • Prospecting & Qualification: Proactively reach out to identified targets via phone, email, and social media. Quickly qualify active opportunities to advance them through the sales funnel.
  • Opportunity Analysis: Analyze industry trends and business challenges affecting prospective clients to tailor value-driven communications and solutions.
  • Product Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of Corporate solutions to effectively articulate value propositions aligned with prospect needs.
  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, conversion metrics, and revenue projections within the CRM system.
  • CRM Maintenance: Ensure clear, detailed records of client interactions, deal progress, and account history in the CRM.

You Have

  • Proven track record of success in a new business sales role focused on cold calling and outbound prospect development.
  • 5+ years of experience selling subscription-based business information or research products is preferred.

  • Strong results orientation with high drive and initiative to achieve revenue targets in a competitive market environment.
  • High self-motivation and passion for closing deals independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and active listening) to articulate the Dow Jones value proposition effectively.
  • Strong phone-based relationship building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and deliver product presentations remotely.
  • High commercial acumen to identify prospective business opportunities and frame solutions within relevant industry contexts.
  • Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a proven ability to address objections and navigate complex sales cycles.
