Non Executive Director

N33DED Recruitment is currently representing an international retail startup in the search for an Australia-based professional to join as a Local Director.

The company has an established corporate structure and ownership documentation in place. The selected candidate will support the company's Australian operations, primarily in connection with its corporate banking arrangements, including the application and onboarding process for six corporate bank accounts.

This is a fully remote opportunity, open to qualified candidates residing anywhere in Australia. No regular office attendance is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the company in dealings with Australian banks and financial institutions within the scope of formally authorised responsibilities.
• Participate in the application and onboarding process for six corporate bank accounts.
• Provide and verify corporate documentation and information requested by financial institutions.
• Liaise with banking representatives throughout the application and onboarding process.
• Fulfil applicable director duties and maintain an appropriate understanding of the company's activities and compliance obligations.

Requirements

• Australian passport holder currently residing in Australia.
• Eligible for appointment as a company director under applicable Australian law.
• Comfortable communicating with banks and financial institutions.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Previous CEO or senior management experience is not required.
• Experience in banking, payments, corporate administration, or retail is considered an advantage.

Working Arrangement

• Fully remote position.
• Open to candidates based anywhere in Australia.
• No regular office attendance required.
• Initial banking setup is expected to be a priority during the first month, subject to bank processing times and approval.
