Who We Are
The North America (NAMR) Client Team is a critical operational function driving the core business process behind how BCG puts firm money behind client relationships. Every day MDPs bring time-sensitive investment and pricing requests, often with the client waiting for an answer. You will be the person who keeps them moving: triaging incoming requests, spotting missing or risky details, getting the right leaders to weigh in, and helping the Client Team Chair make smart decisions fast.
As a Client Team Analyst, you will be a core player in the day-to-day operations that keep NAMR’s investment and client processes running smoothly and accurately. This includes:
• Supporting the daily rhythm of the fast-moving investment approval process including triage, tracking submissions, routing, syndication and follow-up
• Making real-time judgment calls on completeness, urgency and escalation, and keeping MDPs, Commercial Directors and the Chair aligned
• Exploring and applying emerging AI capabilities to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the investment review process
• Contributing to the monthly tracking and distribution of global investment budget and spend, including data reconciliation, resolving discrepancies, and surfacing insights for leadership
• Preparing and maintaining recurring investment reports and materials, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery
• Serving as a trusted point of contact for our MDPs and leadership, responding quickly and clearly
• Supporting the NAMR Executive Director and Directors with Client Team initiatives (such as MDP workshops and communications) and ad hoc requests
• Keeping confidential information confidential
As business needs change, the role will evolve and offer a wide range of professional growth opportunities.
What You'll Do
• Taking proactive ownership of recurring processes and seeing them through reliably
• Managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, global, service-oriented environment
• Using judgment in ambiguous situations, and knowing when to escalate
• Writing short, clear, and actionable emails
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail, especially under deadlines
• Finding ways to improve and automate processes, and learning new tools and skills
• Communicating clearly and confidently, building trust with people at all levels of the organization
• Solving problems with sound judgment and creativity
• Learning new topics and skills with a combination of intellectual curiosity, desire for professional growth, and receptiveness to feedback
• Developing collaborative working relationships with business partners across teams, levels, and locations
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree; preferred in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Math or BCG Experience
• 2-3 years of finance-related experience ideal
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with data and workflow tools
Who You'll Work With
You will work daily with the NAMR Client Team Chair and a small, close-knit Client Team. You will also partner with Commercial Directors, local Finance, System Leaders and the Global Client Team, and interact with MDPs across offices. You will see how BCG decides where to invest, and build a strong network across the firm.
