While our primary focus is on real-time Augmented Reality (AR) broadcast with Unreal Engine, we also engage in non-real-time VFX work to deliver exceptional results for our clients. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a talented Nuke Artist/3D Generalist to join our team and contribute to the success of our VFX and 3D projects. Job Description: As a Nuke Artist/3D Generalist at Silverspoon, you will play a pivotal role in both VFX compositing and 3D content creation, supporting our projects that may not involve real-time rendering in Unreal Engine. Your expertise in Nuke compositing and 3D generalist skills will contribute to the overall success and impact of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Nuke Compositing: Utilize Nuke software to composite and enhance VFX shots, ensuring seamless integration of visual effects into live-action footage. 3D Modeling and Animation: Create and animate 3D assets and characters to be used in VFX and 3D projects. Texture and Shader Development: Develop textures and shaders to enhance the visual quality of 3D assets in both VFX and 3D content. Asset Optimization: Optimize 3D assets and scenes for various projects, including VFX and 3D content. Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including artists, engineers, and producers to meet project goals and deadlines. Quality Control: Ensure the highest level of visual quality, consistency, and realism in VFX and 3D projects. Nice-to-Have Skills: While the following skills and qualifications are not required, they would be considered advantageous: Experience with Unreal Engine: Familiarity with Unreal Engine for real-time AR development. Scripting and Coding: Basic scripting or coding skills in languages like Python, C++, or Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine. VR/AR Experience: Experience in creating VR or AR content for gaming or broadcast applications. Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous work in Nuke compositing and 3D content creation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Nuke Artist or 3D Generalist in a professional setting. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Nuke, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine (if applicable). Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality VFX and 3D assets. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
