Are you a proactive, commercially minded marketer looking for your next challenge in the drinks industry?

I am recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join Off Piste Wines as On-Trade & RTM Marketing Manager on a 12-month maternity cover contract, executing marketing strategy across On-Trade, Convenience, Cash & Carry and Festivals. From developing key customer partnerships and driving distribution to delivering standout brand activations, trade shows and festival experiences, you’ll play a key role in growing the brand’s presence across multiple routes to market.

Ways of Working:

  • Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office (Cheltenham)
  • 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £30K per annum (4 days per week)

Why this role?

A genuinely varied, hands-on role spanning strategy, budget management, account development and event execution — no two weeks will look the same.

  • You’ll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to delivery, from trade show stands to festival activations, with real autonomy over how they come to life.
  • Work across multiple routes to market — On-Trade, Convenience, Cash & Carry and Festivals — building your commercial breadth in a business passionate about its brands.
  • Join at an exciting time as the team plans and delivers its 2028 festival strategy, giving you ownership of some of the business’s highest-profile activity.

The Role…

You’ll lead the execution of marketing strategy across On-Trade, Convenience, Cash & Carry and Festivals, working alongside Brand Managers and Account Managers to drive brand awareness, distribution, sales and customer engagement. Day to day this means managing your own marketing budget, building strong relationships with brand partners, customers, suppliers and agencies, and identifying opportunities to boost visibility and distribution across channels. You’ll plan and attend trade shows and festivals, overseeing stand builds, artwork and creative assets, manage account set-up for key marketing accounts, and develop bespoke creative assets including merchandise, décor and point-of-sale materials. On the festivals side, you’ll manage partner relationships, ticket allocations and on-site delivery, ensuring activations land in line with agreed budgets and brand standards.

The Company…

Off piste is a forward-thinking UK wine distributor partnering with global producers while also crafting its own distinctive brands. The business serves the UK off-trade and on-trade sectors with a portfolio of around 250 products spanning classic and contemporary styles.

Their culture is agile, collaborative and entrepreneurial. With a lean marketing team and ambitious growth plans, this is a business where ideas are heard, ownership is real, and strong marketers can make a visible impact quickly.

If you drink wine, there’s every chance you’ve already bought one of their brands.

You…

We’re looking for a proactive, creative and commercially aware marketer who enjoys working across multiple channels and managing projects from start to finish. You’ll bring strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, along with experience in on-trade marketing, drinks or FMCG. Confidence running events, finding creative solutions within agreed budgets, and building relationships with customers, partners and internal teams will all be key, as will a flexible, hands-on approach to a fast-paced environment.
