Servexo is a veteran-owned federal government contractor providing protective security services nationwide. We're growing our recruiting team and looking for an organized, detail-driven Onboarding Specialist to guide new hires from offer acceptance through their first day on post.

Position Summary

The Onboarding Specialist owns new hire processing from the moment an offer is accepted through readiness for deployment, taking full ownership of Phase 2 of Servexo's recruiting pipeline. This role is the primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and timely transition into their role.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm offer acceptance and initiate the Paycom New Hire Guided Setup
• Assign and monitor completion of the onboarding document packet (Document Group) in Paycom Employee Self-Service
• Track and ensure timely completion of Form I-9 verification
• Coordinate background checks, VA/government clearance requirements, and drug screening as applicable to the position
• Serve as the new hire's point of contact throughout onboarding, answering questions and resolving document or process holdups
• Escalate delays or missing documentation promptly to keep candidates moving through the pipeline
• Hand off ready candidates to the orientation and operations team for New Hire Orientation, OJT scheduling, and deployment
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Paycom and the recruiting pipeline tracker (Monday.com)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in onboarding and HR coordination
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple candidates through a multi-step process simultaneously
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms (Paycom experience a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Familiarity with I-9 verification and background screening processes preferred
• Government contracting or security industry experience a plus, not required
