Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Online Arabic Teacher at Smartious Homeschool and eSchool. The Online Arabic Teacher will deliver live, interactive Arabic language lessons to students from diverse age groups and educational backgrounds, aligned with international curricula where applicable. Daily responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, preparing digital learning materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will use online platforms and tools to manage classes, maintain student records, support individualized learning goals, and collaborate with academic coordinators and guardians to ensure consistent progress. The role also involves integrating elements of Islamic Studies where relevant, promoting cultural understanding, and maintaining an engaging, inclusive, and learner-centered virtual classroom environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Language Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering Arabic lessons online to diverse learners.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and the ability to engage learners in a virtual setting.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning skills, including designing structured, curriculum-aligned lesson plans and selecting appropriate learning resources.
• Candidates should possess relevant knowledge in Islamic Studies when required, and be able to integrate this into language teaching in a respectful and age-appropriate way.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include a degree or diploma in Arabic Language, Education, Islamic Studies, or a related field; prior experience with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE, IB, American, British); familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools; strong classroom management in virtual environments; and the ability to support differentiated learning needs.
