(CRO/ UX) Digital Marketing Executive
£30,000 - £35,000
** Remote role **
My client is a rapidly expanding retail business, with an impressive portfolio of brands that pride themselves on providing the best service to their customers, and an exclusive product range.
Following a period of significant success and investment there is now an opportunity for Digital
Marketing specialist with experience across either Conversion (CRO), Customer Journeys, Digital Content or UX.
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery and continuous improvement of the brands digital experiences. The Digital Executive will help maintain the website backlog, support research and analysis, and contribute to testing and reporting.
The role will help improve key customer journeys by making sure changes are well organised, accurately delivered and informed by evidence.
Responsibilities include:
- UX and customer journeys: Support journey reviews, usability checks and customer research. Help document friction points and prepare findings for the UX lead to consider.
- CRO and experimentation: Assist with developing test ideas, preparing experiment requirements, checking test set-up and recording results and follow-up actions.
- Insight and reporting: Use website analytics and other available data to monitor customer behaviour and key journeys.
- Website journey checks: Check website changes across devices, including links, content, forms, tracking and page presentation. Raise issues and follow them through to resolution.
- Team work: Keep task records and decision logs up to date, share progress and help coordinate work across Digital, Content, Brand, Technology and external partners.
Skills & Experiences needed:
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a digital, e-commerce, website content or online marketing role.
- An understanding of website journeys and at least one of UX, CRO or SEO, with an interest in developing across all three.
- Experience with web analytics, such as GA4, or search performance tools such as Google Search Console.
- Exposure to A/B testing, UX research or usability testing.
- Confidence using data to investigate questions and explain findings clearly.
