Open Innovation Intern

Help shape the future of energy At Luminus, innovation is at the heart of the energy transition. Our mission is to monitor innovation on the market, inspire the business to adopt an innovative and disruptive mindset, and support the development of projects that contribute to our strategy and sustainability ambitions. As an Open Innovation Intern , you will join the Innovation team and help identify the technologies, business models and partnerships that can shape the future of Luminus and the Belgian energy market. You will work closely with business stakeholders across the company, interact with the EDF Group innovation ecosystem, meet start-ups and scale-ups, and contribute to high-impact innovation initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine technology scouting, market analysis, stakeholder engagement and event management in one role. What you will be doing Scout emerging technologies, start-ups and disruptive business models in energy and adjacent sectors. Meet stakeholders across multiple Luminus departments to understand business challenges and match them with innovation opportunities. Conduct market research and draft concise scouting reports and recommendation papers. Present insights and opportunities to business teams and management. Collaborate with colleagues from the EDF Group and sister companies across Europe, particularly in France, the UK and Italy, to exchange best practices and identify partnership opportunities. The Innovation team regularly collaborates with EDF Group entities and affiliates on innovation topics. Attend relevant innovation fairs and networks, technology conferences and start-up events to expand our network and identify promising partners. Support the organization of flagship innovation events such as Innovation Week and Electrification Day. Your profile Master's student or recent graduate in Business, Engineering, Economics, Innovation, Sustainability or a related field Curious about innovation, technology and sustainability Strong analytical and communication skills Comfortable presenting findings to different audiences Proactive, entrepreneurial and eager to take ownership Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are a strong plus Why should you join us?
