Operational Buyer

Experis is recruiting an Operational Buyer on behalf of an international client, offering the opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to efficient procurement operations in a dynamic business environment.

What will you do?

• Process approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and create Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP and other procurement systems.
• Monitor outstanding orders and ensure timely order placement and follow-up.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, track deliveries and address delays or other issues.
• Keep Project Managers and internal stakeholders informed about order status and potential delivery risks.
• Support invoice matching and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, goods or services received, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and operational efficiency.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, purchasing administration, supply chain or order management.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP or similar platforms.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
