About the Role

STIHL Business Services is looking for a Operational Buyer to join Global Purchasing Team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring collaboration and interaction with our supplier base. Your strong communication skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured, solution-oriented approach will contribute directly to maintaining STIHL’s operational excellence.

You're a Great Fit If You:

• You have at least 0-2 years of experience in a Procurement function or similar role.
• You hold a university degree in Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• You can easily communicate in German.
• You have strong proficiency in MS Office.
• You possess strong communication and collaborative mindset.
• You possess analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
• You enjoy working collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have:

• You have experience with SAP.
• You have good English skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You will be part of the Global Purchasing Team, acting as Operational Buyer for the entities across the DACH region.
• You will drive operative procurement tasks from processing purchase requests to managing purchase orders.
• You will support contract management and supplier management.
• You will interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers, guiding them to collaborate effectively with established SAP & Ariba system.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of Purchasing processes in a multicultural environment.
