Job Description:

ThoughtFull is scaling across the region, bringing greater complexity and opportunity across clinical, product and engineering, data, people, and finance.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a single operational leader to bring these functions together: setting the plans, owning the budgets and headcount, and holding every team accountable for outcomes, while enabling the CEO to stay focused on vision, commercial growth and the next stage of the company.

You will own the operating engine of the company end to end. This is a full-time senior leadership role reporting to the CEO, with the function heads across clinical, product and engineering, data, people, finance reporting to you. Commercial sits alongside you as a peer, so a large part of the job is making sure operations and go-to-market move as one company.

What you will do:

Performance

Run the whole operation from plan to delivered outcome.

• Own company-wide operational planning and OKRs across every function in your remit, with

the budget and headcount to deliver them.

• Hold each function to its plans, timelines and milestones, running the operating cadence that keeps the portfolio moving and flagging risks and slippage early.

People

Become a trusted operational partner across the business

• Lead and develop the clinical, product and engineering, data, people, and finance teams, setting clear ownership and holding them accountable to outcomes.
• Identify organizational capability gaps and work with People to strengthen leadership, structure and talent as the company scales.
• Partner closely with commercial leadership to keep delivery and go-to-market aligned and ensure a seamless client experience.

Process

Build the operating systems that help the company scale with clarity, speed and control.

• Design and continuously improve the core processes, systems and operating rhythms that keep teams aligned and execution moving efficiently across the company.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, gaps and recurring issues, and work across functions to simplify workflows, clarify ownership and build scalable solutions.

Product

Shape a seamless experience for providers and users

• Own the product and engineering roadmap and its delivery, keeping build priorities tied to company strategy, clinical need and client commitments.
• Make sure product and clinical decisions are informed by real signals from clients, users and internal teams, within our clinical governance framework.

• Build and reshape the organizational structure the company needs to scale across the region, taking on new functions and remit as ThoughtFull grows.
• Solve problems at the root rather than repeatedly managing symptoms, building systems that make the organization stronger over time.
• Stay close enough to the details to understand what is really happening, while operating at the level of priorities, systems and leadership.
• Show up with curiosity, accountability and a bias for excellence, and be a keeper of the standards every function is measured against.

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior operations, general management, strategy, Chief of Staff or similar cross-functional leadership role, ideally within a scaling company.
• A track record of owning multiple functions or major cross-functional initiatives at once, translating company strategy into clear priorities, plans, budgets and delivered outcomes.
• Strong familiarity with product and technology-led businesses: you understand how to identify user and client needs, shape product priorities, make trade-offs, and work effectively with product and engineering teams to turn those priorities into delivery. A technical background is not required.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting and performance management, and confidence using financial and operational data to guide business decisions.
• Strong people leadership skills, with experience leading senior team members, creating clear ownership and accountability, and helping teams perform effectively across different functions.
• Comfortable operating in environments where data privacy, compliance, confidentiality or clinical considerations matter, with good judgment about when specialist expertise is needed.
• Excellent structured communication: able to turn complexity into clear plans, run effective operating reviews, and communicate priorities, progress and risks clearly to the CEO and board.
• Experience working across multiple Asian markets.
• Genuine commitment to making mental health accessible, and to building a company that operates with a consistently high standard of excellence.

• Time Zone: Must be able to work in Malaysia/Singapore time (GMT+8).

• Language: Must be proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Salary Range: MYR9,500 - MYR14,000
