Job Description
Position: Oracle Fusion AR Functional Consultant
Location: Hyderabad/Chennai/Gurgaon/Pune/Mumbai - Hybrid
Shift Timing: 3.00PM - 12.00AM IST - Rotational Shift
About the role: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly Accounts Receivable (AR) and Advanced Collections. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional configuration, business process analysis, implementation, testing, and support of Oracle Fusion applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Advanced Collections.
- Gather business requirements, analyze functional gaps, and translate business needs into Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Configure customer profiles, transaction types, payment terms, receipt methods, receipt classes, and AutoInvoice processes.
- Work on AR invoicing, receipts, receipt applications, adjustments, credit memos, and customer account management.
- Implement and configure Advanced Collections strategies, collection scoring, collection tasks, dunning, and delinquency management.
- Manage collection work queues, collector assignments, customer aging, collection activities, and dispute resolution processes.
- Troubleshoot issues related to AR transactions, receipts, accounting, customer balances, and collections.
- Support integration and reconciliation between AR, General Ledger (GL), Cash Management, and other relevant financial modules.
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user training materials.
- Perform functional testing, support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve defects.
- Provide production support, root cause analysis, and resolution of functional issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and integrations.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, enhancement, migration, and rollout projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Advanced Collections.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support activities.
- Strong understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) business cycle.
- Hands-on experience with customer billing, invoicing, receipts, cash application, aging, collections, and delinquency management.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion configuration, setups, business processes, and financial transaction flows.
- Experience in functional documentation, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
