Order and Contract Specialist

• Contract management
  • Prepare quotes and contracts for new customers (ByD, S/4, Own IP, CC-flex)
  • Create and adjust contracts for existing customers, including add-on purchases, renewals, and Own IP
  • Prepare contracts for intercompany (IC) license billing
• Procurement
  • Create purchase orders for ByD, S/4, external service providers, and intercompany needs
  • Handle order creation and follow-up for existing customers
  • Start and check the automatic goods receipt run
  • Post and verify goods receipts manually for IC license billing, external service providers, and partner solutions
  • Create IC orders and projects, and order office supplies and hospitality
• Finance
  • Support month-end closing: check that all services are billed, review contract values and unbilled receivables, and handle GR/IR and deferrals (revenue recognition)
  • Post and bill partner commissions
  • Post SAP and external service provider invoices against purchase orders
  • Create IC project billings
  • Create and monitor index runs
  • Review outstanding invoices for goods and services each quarter
  • Record terms and contract values for the forecast
• General back-office tasks
  • Answer customer inquiries about invoices and contracts
  • Maintain price lists in ByD
  • Manage and bill SAP Learning Hub licenses.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, book travel, and prepare expense reports for management, where applicable

• 
  
  • Commercial training or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in contract management, procurement, or accounting
  • A solid understanding of month-end and quarter-end closing, including revenue deferral and open receivables
  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
  • A structured, meticulous way of working, even with many parallel processes and fixed deadlines
  • A strong affinity for numbers and accuracy, particularly with contract values
  • Clear communication with customers, Sales, and management
  • The ability to complete recurring closing tasks independently and reliably

• • Experience in an SAP environment, ideally SAP Business ByDesign or SAP Cloud ERP
  • Experience with intercompany billing
