OVERVIEW

Soul Atlas Universe is a growing creative studio producing original films, games, and comics set in our own fantasy world. We are looking for a social media (either instagram, youtube and/or tiktok) native who is excellent at turning strangers into buddies and building bridges. ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are creating films, games, and comics for our fantasy universe (think Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc., but smaller). We started 4+ years ago as a small team who were initially supposed to package a TV show.

Finding ourselves unwilling to sign away our IP, we decided to build out the universe ourselves to retain creative control. Now, our team has grown to over 200 members across multiple creative and operational verticals.

Our current slate includes short films, a comic book series, and two games (a card game and a TTRPG). We also produce music, art, and have our own in-house media marketing and operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate our small, globally distributed team (animator/director, sound effects artist, voice over artist, and composer) to produce one animated comic trailer per month, with a turnaround of roughly four weeks per project.

Build and maintain the schedule for each trailer, setting clear milestones and deadlines for every contributor and accounting for time zone differences.

Track deliverables as they move through the pipeline (animation, SFX, VO, and score) and make sure everything arrives on time and in the right format for the final assembly.

Keep communication flowing between team members. Check in regularly, spot bottlenecks early, and flag risks to Jonas before they become delays.

Prepare briefing documents and handoff notes so each artist knows exactly what is needed, when, and from whom.

Help us build and refine our production workflow, including project tracking, file sharing, and review processes, so it works smoothly across time zones.

Look back after each trailer to learn what worked and what didn’t, and bring suggestions for improving the next one.

YOUR BACKGROUND

You have experience producing or coordinating creative projects. Animation or video production is a plus, but we’re open to strong producers from other creative fields.

You are well organized and comfortable juggling multiple moving parts and deadlines at once.

You are a very clear communicator, both with the internal team and with creatives who may be working in a different language or time zone.

You’re comfortable working asynchronously and take initiative to keep things moving without needing to be chased.

You are outstandingly reliable. You don’t leave people hanging or miss duties without telling anyone, and you hand over responsibilities properly when needed.

You are calm under pressure and good at problem-solving when timelines shift.

You respect creative work and know how to support artists without getting in the way of their craft.

You have an interest in or curiosity about comics, animation, film, games, art, or music.

You want to be part of a team that’s passionate about its IP and puts a lot of heart and soul into a strong concept and universe.

A PLUS:

Prior experience in a startup, gaming studio, or fast-growing digital media environment.

A genuine love for the fantasy genre.

Multidisciplinary creative skillset including marketing knowledge, strategic thinking, editing skills, design skills, copywriting - but you can learn this also on the job

COMPENSATION DETAILS

Time Investment: Part-time. Approximately 10 hours/week (flexible week on week, as we understand you may have other commitments) - you set your own boundaries and communicate your availability.

Salary: At this point, there is no salary for anyone in our team (from the CEO to the producers to the set runner, nobody draws a salary). We instead give parts of the profit away.

Profit Participation: We are currently developing a profit share/royalty system that awards everyone who is part of the project a piece of the pie. In the application form we provide a detailed breakdown so you can make a decision on whether or not you want to continue with the application.
