The position manages end-to-end campaign activation, including setup, quality assurance, launches, pacing, budget oversight, audience implementation, and ongoing optimization to ensure media investments are accurate, efficient, and aligned with approved plans. It analyzes conversion performance, customer journeys, and platform data to identify opportunities for targeting, creative, bidding, and budget improvements, while delivering clear reporting and business-focused recommendations that strengthen future performance. The job also serves as a cross-functional partner and platform expert, collaborating with planning, analytics, creative, digital, and account teams, sharing knowledge with colleagues, and sharing knowledge with colleagues, and responsibly applying new industry practices, technologies, and AI-enabled tools to enhance paid social capabilities. What you'll do Execute and optimize paid social campaigns — Manage advanced campaign setup, platform implementation, quality assurance, launches, pacing, documentation, and real-time optimization across established and emerging social platforms. Ensure campaign activity is accurate, timely, aligned with approved strategy, and supported by clear documentation of adjustments and decisions. Develop paid social strategies and recommendations — Translate client business objectives, audience insights, channel strategies, and performance goals into paid social media recommendations across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, X, and emerging social channels. Recommend targeting approaches, campaign structures, budget allocation, flighting, creative considerations, and key performance indicators that support campaign success. Guide paid social campaign planning and activation — Partner with planning, media buying, digital, analytics, creative, and account teams to prepare and activate paid social initiatives. Ensure campaign recommendations align with approved strategies, audience objectives, media investments, measurement frameworks, and overall communication goals. Manage audience strategy and platform implementation — Develop audience frameworks including pixel strategies, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, segmentation approaches, remarketing structures, and conversion-focused targeting initiatives. Ensure social platform configurations support campaign objectives, measurement, and optimization requirements. Analyze conversion performance and customer journeys — Evaluate conversion funnels, click paths, lead-generation performance, engagement behavior, and on-site activity to identify opportunities that improve audience effectiveness and campaign outcomes. Use findings to refine targeting, messaging, creative approaches, and investment strategies. Lead paid social optimization and testing for assigned campaigns — Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and return on investment. Develop and execute optimization strategies including audience refinements, bidding adjustments, budget reallocations, placement evaluation, creative testing, and A/B testing initiatives. Manage paid social budgets and investment performance — Monitor spending, pacing, delivery, and platform performance to ensure campaigns remain aligned with approved budgets and objectives. Recommend budget adjustments and investment strategies that support performance goals and maximize value. Deliver reporting, insights, and performance recommendations — Analyze campaign results across accounts and markets, prepare reports and presentations, and communicate insights, trends, opportunities, and recommended actions. Translate platform and performance data into clear business-focused recommendations that improve future campaigns and long-term strategy. Provide platform expertise and marketplace insights — Maintain deep knowledge of paid social platforms, audience solutions, privacy changes, measurement capabilities, platform innovation, advertising technologies, and industry best practices. Share relevant insights with internal teams and clients and help identify emerging opportunities that strengthen campaign performance. Foster cross-functional collaboration and integrated strategy — Partner with communications planners, social strategists, media teams, analytics teams, creative teams, and account leaders to ensure paid social initiatives complement broader paid, owned, and earned media strategies and create a consistent customer experience across channels. Support team development and knowledge sharing — Share expertise, mentor developing team members, contribute to training initiatives, and support the ongoing growth of paid social capabilities across the agency. Serve as a positive resource for teammates while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Explore emerging platforms, technology, and AI — Evaluate platform developments, algorithm changes, automation, and appropriate AI-enabled tools that may improve audience development, campaign planning, benchmarking, creative support, execution, or performance analysis. Apply approved tools responsibly and share relevant findings with the team. Collaboration & Informal Leadership — Demonstrated experience partnering with clients and cross-functional teams, presenting campaign recommendations and performance insights, mentoring developing paid social team members, and supporting campaign execution quality across assigned work. Paid Social Experience — 7+ years of progressive paid social media experience managing cross-platform campaigns, including strategy development, budget allocation, forecasting, optimization, and performance reporting for multi-market or scaled accounts. Performance Analysis & Optimization — Demonstrated experience developing audience strategies, implementing tracking frameworks, evaluating conversion performance, developing and executing testing initiatives, and optimizing paid social programs to improve campaign effectiveness and business outcomes. Paid Social Platform Certifications (Preferred) — Professional certifications, coursework, or training related to paid social advertising platforms, audience targeting, conversion tracking, ad operations, campaign management, and social platform best practices are preferred. Social Measurement & Analytics Certifications (Preferred) — Professional certifications, coursework, or training related to digital analytics, attribution, measurement, testing methodologies, conversion analysis, audience insights, and marketing performance optimization are preferred.
