Part-Time CFO (Saudi National) – Molecular Biology Startup, KAUST

We are a 20-person molecular biology company preparing for a pre-Series A raise. We are looking for an experienced part-time CFO to own cash visibility and fundraising readiness.

Scope: 10–15 hours/week, mostly remote, one onsite day weekly. Initial 3-month engagement, with extension based on results.

You will:

Build and maintain a rolling 12-month cash forecast and runway model

Lead cash planning and prioritization with the CEO

Prepare the financial model and finance materials for investors

Produce a monthly management report, working with our external accountants

You have:

• Experience as CFO or senior finance lead in startups, with a fundraising role
• Strong financial modeling and cash management skills
• Experience with KSA compliance (ZATCA, GOSI)
• Biotech, healthcare, or capital-intensive experience is a plus
• Saudi National
