Are you a natural problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and genuinely enjoys turning someone's stressful day around? We're looking for an empathetic, sharp Omnichannel Support Specialist to deliver top-tier support across voice, live chat, email, and SMS for a rapidly scaling on-demand home services platform. If you love variety, communicate with warmth and clarity, and want a clear, direct path to grow into a permanent full-time position, we’d love to connect with you!Requirements
- 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in omnichannel customer support handling inbound phone calls, live chat, email, and SMS.
- Native or near-native English fluency (written and verbal, C1/C2 level) featuring clear diction, active listening, and authentic empathy.
- Strong typing speed (50+ WPM minimum) with proven ability to multi-task across multiple tabs, live tickets, and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated de-escalation skills with the patience to turn frustrated or anxious customers into loyal brand advocates.
- Background in on-demand marketplaces, field services, logistics, or high-volume e-commerce is a major plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Zendesk, Aircall, Slack, and Google Workspace is preferred.
- Experience balancing customer inquiries alongside field/driver operations or dispatch teams is a strong advantage.
What you'll do
- Deliver fast, empathetic, and reliable support across phone, chat, SMS, and email channels throughout the entire customer journey.
- Manage order confirmations, arrival-window updates, appointment rescheduling, order adjustments, and billing/receipt inquiries.
- De-escalate challenging situations regarding schedule adjustments, service scope discrepancies, or missed items with balanced, customer-first solutions.
- Coordinate directly with internal dispatch and field operations teams to resolve real-time on-site questions and ensure smooth job completion.
- Accurately categorize, tag, and document all customer interactions in the CRM to maintain seamless communication across team shifts.
Success looks like
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction (CSAT) and quality assurance (QA) scores across all communication channels.
- Demonstrating schedule adherence and high first-contact resolution on core billing, scheduling, and service inquiries.
- Rapidly mastering CRM workflows and internal guidelines to smoothly transition from ramp-up hours into a permanent 40-hour full-time schedule.
