Part-time Web Designer & Developer

TrueBiz is a YC-backed merchant risk intelligence platform helping financial institutions understand whether businesses are legitimate. We work with card networks, banks, and payment providers to help keep fraudulent businesses out of the financial system.

We’re refreshing our marketing website for a Q4 launch and looking for an experienced freelancer to own both the design and build.

The project

An initial scope of approximately eight pages and templates, including Home, two flagship product pages, blog and case study templates, About, and Contact.

Our foundational brand system is defined, and copy and rough mockups are in progress. You’ll turn those inputs into a polished website that makes a complex product easy to understand and gives enterprise buyers a clear reason to book a demo.

What you’ll own

• Design responsive layouts, starting with a flagship product page and Home to establish the visual direction.
• Refine page structure, hierarchy, and calls to action, and challenge the brief where a better approach would serve the goal.
• Build and launch the approved site, including CMS templates and contact forms.
• Create reusable components so our team can easily add pages and update content.
• Handle launch QA across desktop and mobile, basic SEO setup, and a practical handover.

Who we’re looking for

• You’ve personally designed and built polished B2B marketing websites.
• Your portfolio shows strong typography, visual hierarchy, and an ability to explain complex products clearly.
• You have hands-on experience with Webflow, Umso or similar platforms.
• You’re comfortable working independently, sharing progress, and keeping a short project moving.
• SaaS, fintech, or payments experience is a nice-to-have.

Timing and working style

We’re looking to start asap, with a target launch roughly three weeks after kickoff. You’ll collaborate directly with our founder and marketing lead.
