About the role:
Conduent is seeking a Participant Benefits Services Specialist to provide professional support to participants with questions about their benefits and plan provisions.
In this fully remote role, you will primarily handle inbound telephone calls, with occasional outbound calls and callbacks. You will answer questions, explain available options and applicable forms, research inquiries, and complete transactions while following established procedures.
If you enjoy helping people, communicating clearly, and solving problems, this role offers an opportunity to develop valuable benefits administration experience while providing accurate, thoughtful, and professional participant support. Call volume is relatively low compared with traditional high-volume call center environments.
What you’ll do:
- Answer participant questions and explain applicable benefits, plan provisions, and available options.
- Research inquiries, complete transactions, and provide guidance on required forms and processes.
- Complete callbacks promptly and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Document participant interactions accurately in the case management system.
- Follow client-specific procedures and meet established quality, accuracy, productivity, and timeliness standards.
- Protect confidential participant information and comply with applicable company, client, privacy, and security requirements.
What you’ll need:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently, follow detailed procedures, and adapt to client-specific requirements.
- A patient, professional, and solution-focused approach when assisting participants.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to meet established performance expectations.
Preferred experience:
Experience in benefits administration, defined benefit pension plans, retirement services, customer service, or call center operations is preferred. Familiarity with pension terminology, plan provisions, or participant support is a plus.
Training and work schedule:
Training: Approximately 7–8 weeks of comprehensive virtual training covering the systems, procedures, and processes needed to support participants.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with scheduled hours falling between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Availability during this window is expected. Additional scheduling details will be provided during the hiring process.

To qualify for this fully remote production position, candidates must meet the following technical requirements:
- Pass an internet speed test with download speeds of at least 25 Mbps, upload speeds of at least 5 Mbps, and a ping of 175 ms or less.
- Have the ability to connect to a modem/router using an Ethernet cable.
