Show job description

At Growmodo, we help agencies and fast-growing companies scale smarter through a flexible, subscription-based talent model. We’re looking for a Partner Growth Manager (Sales) who owns their pipeline, leads confident sales conversations, and closes new partners consistently. If you’re proactive, performance-driven, and motivated by results, this is your chance to directly impact our growth.

The Role

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 8am-5pm Eastern Standard Time

About You

The ideal Partner Growth Manager is Growmodo’s salesperson - a hunter who knows how to close. They’re proactive in finding leads and building their own pipe. Comfortable with cold outreach and confident talking to agency owners, with the drive to turn opportunities into new business.

As Growmodo’s Partner Growth Manager, you’ll build relationships with agency owners, understand their needs, and bring in the right partners through honest, effective sales conversations.

Your work will directly support Growmodo’s growth by bringing in new recurring revenue, building a pipeline beyond inbound leads, and helping ensure we partner with agencies that have real, ongoing work.

What You’ll Own (Key Responsibilities)

  • Inbound Discovery: Lead inbound calls, diagnose client needs, and translate Growmodo’s 4-hour-per-day model into their daily workflow.

  • Outbound Prospecting: Execute daily outreach through cold calls, LinkedIn, and email using tools such as Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  • Pipeline Building: Identify and research target agencies, find relevant decision-makers, and consistently generate new qualified opportunities beyond inbound leads.

  • Sales Qualification: Assess prospects’ needs, recurring workload, budget, and readiness before recommending a solution.

  • Objection Handling: Address concerns with clear answers and relevant proof to help qualified prospects make informed decisions.

  • Deal Closing: Move qualified opportunities toward a decision, ask for the sale when there’s a good fit, and close new recurring subscriptions.

  • Follow-Up Management: Book the next step during calls whenever possible, follow up consistently, and keep every opportunity moving forward.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate HubSpot records, track deal progress, and ensure every opportunity has a clear next action.

  • Partner Handover: Provide Partner Success with complete context on newly closed partners to support a smooth transition.

  • Market Feedback: Share insights on lead quality, prospect objections, and market trends with Marketing and Leadership.

You Must Have:

  • At least 1 year of B2B sales experience, ideally selling services.

  • Strong spoken and written English (C1–C2). Communicate clearly and confidently with business owners.

  • Proven ability to identify and research potential partners (customers), generate leads, build a sales pipeline, and close deals.

  • Hands-on cold-calling experience. Be ready to explain your outreach activity and results.

  • Ability to turn qualified prospects into paying customers, not just book meetings.

  • Strong discovery skills: ask good questions, listen carefully, and understand a prospect’s needs, workload, and budget.

  • Confidence handling objections, asking for the sale, and moving deals toward a decision.

  • Experience selling to business owners or other decision-makers, ideally in the US or Europe.

  • Good follow-up habits and experience managing a sales pipeline in a CRM.

  • Self-driven and coachable, with the ability to manage your own activity and results.

  • Based in Central or South America, with availability to work US hours and overlap with UK/EU mornings.

Partner Growth Principles (Culture & Mindset):

  • Diagnostic Mindset: Listens more than talks; uses the prospect's actual numbers and pain points rather than generic sales scripts.

  • Commercial Candor: Qualifies rigorously and protects long-term fit - never pushes bad-fit deals for short-term commission.

  • Proactive Ownership: Drives self-sourced pipeline, takes responsibility for the quota, and adjusts activity level when behind target.

  • Assertive Momentum: Leads conversations with confidence, handles objections grounded in proof, and directly asks for next-step commitments.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Experience selling subscription-based services

  • Experience selling to digital, creative, or marketing agencies, or selling white-label/outsourced services

  • Familiarity with consultative frameworks (e.g. CLOSER)

  • Experience converting paid-ad / marketing-qualified inbound leads

  • Experience with Hubspot

  • Hands-on experience with Smartlead, Clay, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Spanish or Portuguese in addition to English

This Role Is NOT For You If:

  • You wait for inbound leads. You prefer an inbound-only model and resist daily cold calling, prospecting, and handling cold outreach rejection.

  • You feature-pitch instead of diagnose. You tend to present slides and talk over prospects rather than asking deep questions about their actual daily workload.

  • You avoid driving commercial momentum. You hesitate to ask for commitments live, fail to lock down next steps on calls, or let leads stall without calendar invites.

  • You rely on bad sales habits. You resort to pressure tactics, fake urgency, or unapproved discounts rather than winning on genuine fit and commercial value.

  • You struggle with administrative discipline. Updating CRM records, setting next-action dates, and sending 24-hour recaps feel like burdensome overhead to you.

  • You need a fixed salary cushion. You prefer low-variable compensation models over performance-driven earning potential tied directly to MRR targets.
