Summary

As a member of the National Alliance team, in the role of Partner Solutions Manager, you will work closely with the Regional Sales/Account Management Directors to implement plans/strategies with 13 Blue partners across the nation.

From a marketing aspect, you will be responsible for building brand identity by being a representative of National Alliance at national conventions/fairs, with the opportunity to conduct speaking engagements. You will also expand on our partner relationships and serve as an internal liaison to key support areas that drive innovation to support our clients' national needs.

The ideal candidate would have an internal focus on building metrics to measure successes and gaps in partner plans to help plan and align resources distributed among the team.

**We strongly prefer experience and knowledge of National Health Plans and selling ancillary products.


Description

Logistics:

This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday hybrid position (reporting on site 3 days a week and remote 2 days per week). You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00pm-5:00pm.


What You’ll Do:

  • Communicates effectively with Partner Plans managing mutual goals and objectives. Assesses and implements resource and training needs for Partner Plan staff. Establishes and maintains a highly visible field presence with staff to ensure staff and plan success.
  • Monitors marketplace regularly to identify trends in sales, competitors, BlueCross BlueShield Association initiatives and product design. Sends/shares data to senior management and Partner Plans for review on a regular basis.
  • Establishes and maintains positive Partner Plan distribution channel relations. Manages working relationship with Partner Plans including legal, policy and procedures and issue resolution.
  • Coordinates ongoing Partner Plan Meetings including but not to Executive Oversight or Steering Meeting, Quarterly and/or Semiannual Account Management Oversight, etc.
  • Communicates regularly and effectively with staff and management regarding information pertinent to successful achievement of goals.
  • Monitors performance metrics and distributes to Partner Plans.
  • Completes all reporting requirements as outlined by senior management within specified time periods.

To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 years sales and marketing experience including 1-year lead or supervisory experience or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of products, procedures, systems, marketing, and National Alliance.
  • Basic understanding of enrollment/underwriting guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent judgment skills.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, presentation skills with proven ability to manage projects/work teams.
  • Proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
  • Analytical or critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to direct, motivate, and assess performance of others.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment.
  • Current South Carolina Department of Insurance License or the ability to acquire within 4 months of date hired.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor's degree- any major
  • Knowledge of National Health Plans
  • Knowledge of selling ancillary products
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent Communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong customer service, organizational, presentation skills with proven ability to manage projects/work teams.
