Partnership Intern - Creative Gateway Refugee Project We usually respond within a week We are looking for a few Partnership interns who are passionate about the intersectionality between the private sector and the development industry and how to maximize the value that strategic collaborations between them can foster. You will be part of supporting youth in refugee camps throughout the world, starting from Kakuma in Kenya, home to over 280,000 refugees. Our model involves teaching specific freelancing skills physically at the camps and then connecting them with companies once they graduate. Our first cohort was successful and we have a 100% success rate so far in landing gigs for graduates. Now, we are looking to scale the project beyond only Kakuma to benefit youth at other refugee camps around Africa, such as Sudan, Somalia etc. Thereby, we are looking for contributors willing to invest time in the cause - and get invaluable experience and skills to propel you further in your career. What we are doing is truly unique with its strong connection to the private sector. For this to work at scale, we need to come up with lean processes, investigate and maximize the value companies get from the collaboration, and onboard new and better private-sector partnerships for the next phases. In this position, you will be contacting companies in the Nordics first hand - which revolves around experimenting with different approaches, having discussions with specific company decision makers, strategically onboard them to the project with value-add in mind, and navigating with the team in how to create specific content for onboarded partners. The position is unpaid, while there might be opportunities later on. The length of the internship is three (3) months. Remote status Fully Remote Helsinki What can you do?
