Partnerships and Operations Manager

About us:

H1 Spanish is a vibrant language academy located in Poblenou's tech district. We focus on practical and engaging learning for the expat community in BCN.

Your responsibilities:

Partnerships

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships and affiliate programs with local businesses
• Organize and execute joint promotional events
• Participate in partner meetings
• Research and identify relevant local influencers across social media
• Conduct outreach, negotiate terms and manage ongoing partnerships

Operations and customer service

• Handle incoming student inquiries and manage new leads professionally in English and Spanish
• Coordinate the students’ enrollment process
• Keep internal databases up to date
• Perform daily reception tasks, welcoming students, answering questions and ensuring the day-to-day operation of the academy
• Confirm and plan the weekly class schedule
• Participate in recruitment processes
• Manage invoicing, track payments and handle basic financial administration

What makes you a good fit?

• Operational and organizational skills, including experience with scheduling, coordination, and basic administrative processes
• Partnership development and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify, negotiate, and maintain collaborations with external organizations
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and spoken communication in English; Spanish language skills are highly beneficial
• Comfort working in a school or educational environment, with a student-centered mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently on-site in Barcelona, manage multiple tasks, and adapt in a growing startup-style organization
