About High Performance
High Performance started in 2021 with the High Performance Podcast, hosted by Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes. Today it's a group of shows, live events and brand partnerships built on one idea: learning from the people who've done it. Alongside the flagship podcast, the slate includes High Performance Racing, High Performance Business, Untapped, On The Mend and Feel Good Formula.
The role
We're doubling the size of our partnerships team. You'll sell bespoke partnerships across podcast, YouTube, social and live, built around shows people really listen to. These aren't spot buys. They're six- and seven-figure partnerships where brands become part of the content. You'll have a planner to build proposals and cost campaigns, so your time goes on finding and closing deals.
Your focus
We're hiring sellers with two kinds of strength, and you'll lean towards one of them.
- Some of you will build relationships across agency partnership and content teams, planning teams, and business directors and client partners, getting our shows into client plans early.
- Others will go straight to brands: marketing, sponsorship and partnership leads, and in-house media teams at businesses that buy without an agency.
Either way, you'll open the conversation, shape ideas that fit and turn them into signed partnerships.
What you'll do
- Build and manage your own pipeline in monday.com and give honest forecasts with no padding.
- Lead pitch meetings, with the planner behind you on proposals and pricing.
- Work with production, talent and marketing to shape ideas that fit the shows.
- Look after the partners you sign and grow them at renewal.
What we're looking for
- Three to five years in media sales, with a track record of winning six-figure partnerships, whether through agencies, directly with brands, or both.
- You'll have strong relationships in one of those worlds and know how an idea gets from first conversation to a signed deal.
- Experience selling audio, video or digital, ideally podcasts.
- You're comfortable negotiating, you can hold your own in a room with senior marketers, and you write emails people answer.
Our values
We do the best we can (dynamic), where we are (respect), with what we've got (collaboration).
We want a team as varied as the people who listen to our shows, so we welcome applications from everyone. If you need any adjustments during the process, just let us know. You'll need the right to work in the UK.
