About High Performance
High Performance started in 2021 with the High Performance Podcast, hosted by Jake Humphrey and Damian Hughes. Today it's a group of shows, live events and brand partnerships built on one idea: learning from the people who've done it. Alongside the flagship podcast, the slate includes High Performance Racing, High Performance Business, Untapped, On The Mend and Feel Good Formula.
The role
We're doubling the size of our partnerships team, and our sellers need to spend their time selling. You'll be the person who turns a brief or an opportunity into a proposal people want to buy.
You'll respond to briefs, build proactive ideas for brands we want to work with, and own the collateral the team sells with. You'll work across the whole team, agency and brand direct, and report to the Head of Partnerships.
What you'll do
- Work with sellers on every incoming brief, shaping the idea and building the response, from the plan and costs to the deck.
- Build proactive proposals for brands and agencies we're targeting, so sellers have something strong to open with.
- Bring insight into everything you build: our audience data, what's happening in the brand's category and what the brand is trying to achieve, so every proposal shows why we're the right partner.
- Cost every proposal through our campaign planner so pricing is consistent and every deal works for the business.
- Own our collateral: rate cards, audience data, show one-pagers, case studies and templates, and keep it current as the slate grows.
What we're looking for
- Two to four years in a planning, sales planning or insight role at a media owner, publisher or agency.
- You know how to find the insight that makes a brand pay attention and build a proposal around it. You're quick and accurate in Excel, and you can make a deck look sharp in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- You understand how podcast, YouTube and social audiences are measured, or you'll pick it up fast.
- You can take a messy brief and come back with something clear, and you're organised enough to keep a busy team's proposals moving without dropping anything.
Nice to have
- Experience with monday.com or a similar CRM, and some understanding of how agencies plan and buy partnerships.
Our values
We do the best we can (dynamic), where we are (respect), with what we've got (collaboration).
We want a team as varied as the people who listen to our shows, so we welcome applications from everyone. If you need any adjustments during the process, just let us know. You'll need the right to work in the UK.
