The role
Our international team is looking for a People Operations Manager (f/m/x) to keep our global HR operations running smoothly and continuously improve the way we work. Based in Chile, you will work closely with our Head of People & IT in Germany and support employees across our international locations.
Our ideal candidate combines solid HR operations experience with a strong sense of ownership and a curious, hands-on approach to solving problems. You enjoy working with people, navigating different local employment requirements, and using digital tools to make processes more efficient. You are comfortable managing multiple topics in a dynamic, international environment, and you see opportunities to improve and automate the way things are done.
In this role you will
- Manage global HR operations: Oversee day-to-day People Operations across Chile and our other international locations (Costa Rica, Ghana, Kenya, Germany), including employee data, contract changes, documentation, policies, and benefits administration.
- Coordinate payroll across countries: Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll processes for Chile and other countries, working with local payroll providers.
- Support the full employee lifecycle: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for employees in different countries, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience, including in a remote environment.
- Contribute to international recruitment: Manage recruitment processes in-house, from coordinating job postings and screening applications to organizing interviews and supporting hiring managers across our locations.
- Improve and automate processes: Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring HR tasks. Build and maintain clear processes, documentation, and workflows to help our small team work more efficiently.
- Support employee engagement and development: Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys, team events, and performance management cycles, working closely with the Head of People & IT.
- Support local office administration: Provide occasional administrative and organizational support to our Head of LATAM.
