People & Organization Generalist - Mars Canada

As a People and Organization Generalist, this position plays a key role in driving people strategy and operational excellence across One Mars, including the Pet Nutrition, Royal Canin, Food and Snacking segments in Canada. The position also supports cross-functional initiatives and corporate projects as needed.
What are we looking for?
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources, Business and/or Communications.
- 1 - 3 years Human Resources experience (For example: Talent Acquisition, HR Generalist/Coordinator, Associate Relations, People Experience, etc).
- Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders with strong customer orientation and strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task. Capable of establishing priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter, and take initiative/ownership; adaptive and flexible to new ideas and change.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Gathering data and analytics against our One Mars Canada talent strategy.
- Develop and manage detailed development sprints, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues and clear escalation path for all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners in order to ensure best practice and bringing the outside world in to Mars.
- Be familiar with all MyP&O functions and operation flow, collaborate with key MyP&O team members to build P&O knowledge and help maximizes the MyP&O team’s capability to enable superior service delivery.
