Provide professional HR advice and operational support to designated business areas
Support managers with employee relations matters, including documentation, correspondence and case resolution
Assist with performance management and the delivery of Sizewell C’s performance framework, reward cycle and cyclical HR processes
Maintain accurate employee records and process workflows and approvals through MyHR
Support recruitment activity, including developing job descriptions and requisitions and coordinating with the recruitment team
Produce HR reports, data analysis and workforce planning information
Support organisational and structural changes alongside the Organisational Capability team
Coordinate Personal Development Plan activity for assigned business areas
Support annual pay review and bonus processes
Contribute to succession planning, talent management and employee engagement activities
Providing advice and guidance – whilst also helping to develop, implement and review HR policies

About You

We’re looking for someone with HR experience who is organised, confident and comfortable working with stakeholders across the business.

You’ll bring:

Previous experience working within an HR environment

A collaborative approach and the ability to work across different teams and functions
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ideally, you’ll be CIPD qualified at Level 3 or Level 5. However, we’re also interested in hearing from candidates who are willing to work towards a CIPD qualification.

Why Join Us?

For more than 60 years, nuclear power stations in the UK have been quietly keeping Britain fuelled with massive amounts of home-grown energy.

Our teams up and down the country are proudly continuing to serve the nation – but they also have an eye on the future.

EDF is leading the UK's nuclear renaissance with the construction of a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C and plans for a new power station at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

Nuclear power is the most reliable, low-carbon energy source currently available to the UK. EDF is playing a key role in the development of nuclear sites, while Hinkley Point C will provide low-carbon electricity to meet 7% of the UK demand. The project is already making a positive impact on the local and national economy as well as boosting skills and education.

We’re not just building new nuclear power stations. We’re developing careers, upskilling generations and creating thousands of employment and apprenticeship opportunities across a variety of skills areas.

It takes a special kind of person to work in the nuclear energy industry and although we have thousands of them there’s always a need for more.

Our industry has a mind-boggling range of opportunities and more jobs, and in more places, than you might think. But it’s also an industry which is changing.

We’re a responsible business and proud to be Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity. With size, age and experience, we believe we can do even more.
