Want to be part of this? We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PeopleSoft Developer to join our Tailored Technology team. This individual will The PeopleSoft Developer develops, enhances, and supports new and existing PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 applications in an Oracle environment. The role supports Human Resources (HR), Base Benefits (BN), Benefits Administration (BA), Payroll for North America (PY), Time and Labor (TL), eBenefits, and Self Service modules. This position participates in the full application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, planning, design, development, testing, debugging, implementation, system maintenance, and production support. The ideal candidate combines strong PeopleSoft technical skills with the ability to understand business processes, communicate effectively with end users, and deliver practical, reliable solutions.

• Provide technical and functional support for PeopleSoft HCM applications in an Oracle environment.

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft applications, including performance tuning, ongoing maintenance, and resolution of system issues.

• Partner with end users to investigate problems, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.

• Work with business stakeholders to define the scope of business needs and translate processes into detailed functional requirements and technical design specifications.

• Design, develop, and unit test application enhancements and projects in accordance with development standards.

• Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft HCM and external applications, including interfaces using Integration Broker and applicable web-service or file-based technologies.

• Develop, enhance, and support Structured Query Report (SQR) programs.

• Assist with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, retrofits, and system maintenance activities, including testing and documentation.

• Prepare data mapping and transformation requirements to support conversions and integrations.

• Follow established testing, documentation, migration, change-control, and production-support procedures.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including technical designs, test plans, implementation instructions, and support documentation.

• Stay current with PeopleTools capabilities, PeopleSoft development practices, and software quality-assurance standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft HCM applications, data, and data models.

• Five or more years of PeopleTools development experience; experience with PeopleTools 8.60 or later

• Five or more years of experience working with Oracle or a comparable relational database platform.

• Five or more years of experience with PeopleCode, SQL, and SQR.

• Five or more years of development experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine and Component Interface.

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM modules such as HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor, eBenefits, or Self Service.

• Experience with Integration Broker, REST or SOAP web services, or file-based integrations is preferred.

• Experience with XML Publisher or BI Publisher is a plus.

• Experience with Application Packages and/or Fluid development is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support business-critical initiatives.

• Working knowledge of programming structures, data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.

• Strong understanding of development standards, including unit testing, system testing, documentation, migration procedures, and best practices.

• Ability to analyze unusual or complex system issues and proactively resolve questions and incidents.

• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to recommend solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.

• Self-directed and well organized, with excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, working from our corporate office in Houston, TX Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday.
