About the Role
We’re hiring a Performance Creative Strategist for one of our E-Commerce Fitness clients based in the US. The company makes strength equipment for home and garage gyms.
This role combines creative strategy with day-to-day paid social management. You’ll turn customer insights into ad concepts, get them produced with creators, editors and AI tools, then use the results to decide what to scale and what to kill. You own the work from brief to performance read.
What You’ll Do
Customer insight and creative ideas
- Find angles in customer reviews, support tickets, competitor ads and customer conversations
- Turn those angles into hooks, concepts, scripts and briefs the team can execute
- Keep a clear point of view on what the brand should and shouldn’t say
Paid creative testing (Meta and Google)
- Launch, read, scale and kill creative tests
- Ship 3 to 4 new video ads every week
- Use AI tools to handle account work so your time goes into creative
- Work alongside the current agency for the first couple of months, then take over the account
Creators and production
- Send 1 to 3 briefs to creators and get back roughly 10 ads
- Lead a small content team (content creator and video editor) and an AI content workflow
- Keep all creative accurate to the product, with technical claims checked by the product team
Beyond paid
- Shape organic social, YouTube, search content and product education
- Set messaging for product launches and email/SMS campaigns
- Maintain a simple learning log so every test informs the next
Nice to Have
- YouTube, SEO or product education experience
- Fitness, sporting goods or other enthusiast category experience
- Experience with commission-based creator ads
This Role Is Probably Not for You If You
- Only want to write briefs and hand them off
- Need a big team around you
- Get attached to your ideas. Most tests lose, and that’s fine as long as the team learns something
Tools You’ll Use: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Shopify, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
