🔍 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take part in discovery and analysis sessions to understand objectives and non-functional requirements
• Assess performance risks related to new features or architectural changes
• Define performance testing strategies based on business and technical requirements
• Create performance test plans covering scope, objectives, workload models, success criteria, and execution approach
• Develop reusable and maintainable performance test scripts
• Model realistic workloads based on expected application usage
• Implement parameterization, correlation, dynamic data handling, and reusable script components
• Test web, mobile, API, and microservice applications
• Plan and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests
• Monitor test execution and validate the integrity of results
• Analyze response times, throughput, transaction success rates, errors, resource utilization, scalability, and system stability
• Identify performance bottlenecks and correlate application behavior with infrastructure metrics
• Investigate root causes and recommend improvements to application performance, scalability, and stability
• Prepare technical and executive reports, documenting risks, bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support development teams with performance optimization activities
• Contribute to integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and improving testing practices

🛠️REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and engineering principles
• Knowledge of French
• Understanding of workload modelling, test planning, bottleneck identification, scalability, capacity planning, and performance analysis
• Experience with one or more performance testing tools, such as:
• - OpenText LoadRunner Enterprise
• - OpenText VuGen
• - OpenText Analysis
• Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, REST APIs, and SOAP
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and microservices
• Knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language, such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Groovy
• Basic scripting skills for automation, data manipulation, and script development or customization
• Ability to design and execute performance test campaigns independently
• Ability to create complex scripts and workload models, develop reusable components, and perform root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and accountability
• Good communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache JMeter, Gatling, k6, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter
• Knowledge of GraphQL or WebSockets
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Icinga, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK Stack
• Ability to interpret application and infrastructure metrics
• Understanding of JVM and garbage collection processes
• Basic knowledge of Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Experience integrating performance testing into delivery pipelines
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, infrastructure monitoring, networking, or test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud scaling practices such as HPA and VPA
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification, or another relevant performance testing, application, or cloud certification
