Pipe Inventory Coordinator

Underground Solutions, Inc. (UGS) has an opening for a Pipe Inventory Coordinator. This position is a remote position but you must be based in Central or Mountain time zone to support across all US time zones. QUALIFICATIONS Experience in inventory control, logistics, supply chain, material coordination, construction, manufacturing, or related industries Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate confidently with project teams, suppliers, and freight carriers Enjoy coordinating people, materials, and processes within a structured environment with established systems and procedures Excellent computer skills with MS Office applications, and proficiency with inventory management using an ERP Understands the importance of accuracy, urgency, and accountability Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers and enjoys being a key contributor to the success of multiple projects Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote work environment, including experience taking ownership of tasks and follows through until completion COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Competitive Hourly Pay Rate with paid overtime and Career Growth Opportunities Full Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Long and Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Matching 401k Tuition Assistance 14 weekdays Paid Time Off per calendar year 10 paid Holidays per calendar year RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the tracking, allocation, and movement of pipe inventory across multiple projects and locations Maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate material shipments, and ensure project teams have the materials needed to support project schedules and customer commitments Work closely with the Scheduler, Project Managers, Purchasing Agents, Operations team members, vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners Monitor inventory levels and availability to support active projects and upcoming customer requirements Allocate and assign pipe inventory based on project schedules and operational priorities Assist in coordinating shipments of inventory to project sites and storage locations Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure material availability aligns with project timelines Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing Agents, and Operations team members to identify current and future material requirements Coordinate freight and transportation activities with vendors and internal logistics coordinators Assist in tracking shipments and proactively communicate delivery updates, potential delays, and inventory concerns Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and project stakeholders Follow established inventory control processes and procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement Prepare inventory, allocation, and shipment reports, as needed Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and material availability challenges Azuria Water Solutions Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
