Platform Architect – Data & AI

Design it. Build it. Help shape what's next in enterprise Data & AI.

At Majesco, we're looking for a hands-on Platform Architect who loves turning complex technical challenges into working solutions.

You'll help shape how enterprise data, cloud platforms, and AI technologies come together. From designing data architectures and building prototypes to connecting AI agents with enterprise systems, your work will directly influence how we build and scale our Data & AI platform.

This isn't a role where you simply create diagrams and hand them off. You'll roll up your sleeves, build what you can, and guide the technical design of what comes next.

You don't need to be an expert in every technology. We're looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, and the drive to build, experiment, and grow.

About the Role

As our Platform Architect – Data & AI, you'll design and prototype solutions that connect enterprise data, applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities.

You'll translate business needs into practical technical architectures, build core components and proofs of concept, and define the integrations, infrastructure, and security requirements needed to bring solutions to life.

When a solution requires specialized engineering or infrastructure work, you'll document the design and partner with our Platform Delivery Lead, who will coordinate execution with the appropriate teams.

Once the solution is implemented, you'll validate that the components work together as intended.

You'll own the technical design from concept through validation, with the opportunity to build and prototype along the way.

What You'll Do

• Design Data & AI architectures. Create scalable technical designs that connect enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities.
• Build and prototype solutions. Develop proofs of concept, core data structures, SQL tables, integrations, and working components to test ideas and accelerate delivery.
• Architect enterprise data flows. Design how data moves from source systems through ingestion, transformation, and business-ready data models that support analytics, applications, and AI.
• Connect AI with enterprise systems. Design solutions using AI gateways, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), APIs, and agentic AI architectures.
• Turn designs into actionable technical plans. Define requirements for infrastructure, hosting, security, identity management, and integrations. Partner with the Platform Delivery Lead to coordinate work that requires specialized teams.
• Validate end-to-end solutions. Review completed implementations, test connectivity and integrations, and confirm solutions meet architectural and business requirements.

What You Bring

We're looking for a hands-on technologist who understands how systems connect and enjoys designing and building solutions, not just talking about them.

• Experience in solution architecture, platform engineering, data engineering, software development, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, or prototyping technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, data integration, and how data moves across enterprise systems.
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs, application integrations, and modern data platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, diagrams, specifications, and working prototypes.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and an interest in building secure, practical AI solutions that connect with enterprise data.

You don't need to have held an Architect title before. If you've been designing solutions, building technical components, and thinking about how systems fit together, we'd like to hear from you.

Experience in any of these areas will help you make an impact, but you don't need to check every box.

• Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or modern lakehouse architectures.
• Azure or AWS cloud architecture, hosting, and enterprise integrations.
• ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation, semantic models, and advanced SQL.
• AI agents, AI gateways, MCP servers, RAG, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Enterprise AI platforms such as Glean, Claude, or OpenAI.
• Identity and access management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience building micro-applications, internal tools, or AI-enabled business solutions.

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Majesco considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
